Police today arrested a suspect in a series of shootings along the I-5 corridor, near the Vancouver, BC border. The suspect stands accused of five seperate attacks, one of which left a long-haul truck driver paralized from the waist down. Police feel confident that the arrest is a solid case and will bring this reign of terror to a close.

Friday, April 5, 1996
Fire ripped through the Eden Roc apartments, located in Bellevue, WA today, leaving 18 units with up to 40 individuals displaced until at least Monday. The fire has suspicious origins and a resident of the origin unit was placed in custody by Bellevue Police Department investigators. The American Red Cross has opened a shelter facility to house displaced residents and will provide long-term assistance to those who require same. The suspect has recently been arrested for kicking in the door of a unit below his, claiming that he heard machinery operating in the apartment which was, "Driving him crazy," according to BPD investigators.

Thursday, April 4, 1996
Tukwila Police Department investigators are searching for the owner of a local espresso stand who police claim was robbed and abducted. After the apparent victim's mother arrived at the stand for her morning beverage, she noticed suspicious activity and entered the enclosed stand where she discovered a towel with blood and a missing cash-box. Three hours later, police discovered the victims car behind a department store, engulfed in fire. Family and friends are mounting a substantial search for the victim and have offered a cash reward for information leading to his whereabouts.
