Violence Continues At Numerous Locations in Israel

East Jerusalem
According to East Jerusalem Hospitals, there are at least three Arabs that were killed by police gunfire on the Temple
Mount following the Friday Moslem prayer service. Rioting broke out there and there are undoubtedly civilian casualties.
Tul Karem
It appears that several Border Policemen were injured by terrorist gunfire in the attack that took place at the IDF
checkpoint near PLO-controlled Tul Karem. One is in critical condition. Some of the injured were transported to Laniado
Hospital in Netanya. IDF helicopters are flying over the area.
Bet Lechem
PLO Police are keeping rioters away from Rachel's Tomb. IDF units are on hand and Israeli sharpshooters are in position
in case the violence escalates.
Kalkilya
Violence is erupting as hundreds of Arabs have begun violent demonstrations. IDF troops and Border Policemen are
moving in with tear gas to control the mob.
Jenin
Arabs are out of control in PLO-controlled Jenin. Reports from there are sketchy, but injuries have been reported.
Nachal Oz
In Gaza, near Kibbutz Nachal Oz, IDF troops and Arab rioters are battling it out. Shots are being fired. No detailed
information regarding injuries is available at this time.
Jericho
PLO troops are firing at IDF soldiers. Several Israelis were reported injured. Rock and bottle throwing continues.
Kfar Darom
In the area of the community of Kfar Darom, Gaza, thousands of rioting Arabs are gathering in front of the gate and are
beginning to engage the Israeli security troops. The women and children of Kfar Darom are heading for cover as the first
response security teams are taking positions. This follows heavy fighting and shooting in Kfar Darom yesterday.

The Triangle
The area inside Israel, known as the Triangle, has also erupted. The predominantly Arab population has begun throwing
rocks at Jewish vehicles. Residents of Jaljulia are throwing rocks at Israeli police.
Tabia
Arab children from the town of Taiba are said to be attacking Jewish cars traveling on the main road.
Bus Attacked
An Egged bus traveling to the community of Shilo (Shomron - Benjamin Regional Council) was attacked by stone throwers
near the entrance to Shilo. The attackers were from the nearby village of Turmus Ai'ya. The bus sustained damage but no
injuries were reported.
Overall Situation Report and Analysis
Violent rioting continues to be reported as of 14:30 (local) near Rachel's Tomb in Bet Lechem (Bethlehem), Kfar Darom (Gaza), and Nachal Oz (Gaza). Tens of Arabs have been reported injured in a variety of locations today.
Yasir Arafat, PLO President, has reportedly issued orders to PLO Authority police to discontinue firing at IDF troopers and Israeli police. Mixed results have been reported in regard to the success of these efforts. Gunbattles continue in some areas involving firefights between the opposing forces.
