Israeli Car Bomb Warning

According to previously reliable sources in Israel, effective at 9:00p.m. this evening, a security alert has been issued and a curfew has been issued for Judea, Samaria, and the PLO controlled Gaza strip. According to intelligence reports, a car bomb has been readied for use in "Israel proper" and an attempt to import it and attack may be imminent.

Check points surrounding the aforementioned areas have been "beefed up", and additional IDF forces have reportedly been sent to several areas. The Prime Minister's Counter-Terrorism advisor, Brig. Gen. Pressler, has issued a warning to the general public cautioning them about "anything suspicious" and requesting that they notify authorities immediately should they note anything out of the ordinary.

Mid-east analysts say that the alert will probably continue until after the end of Ramadan. This time frame is also concurrent with the mourning period for slain PLO activist Yechi Ayyash. Islamic extremists have vowed to seek revenge for the "the Engineers" death, allegedly at the hands of operatives close to Israeli intelligence services.
