(ENN) According to Isreali Security Services, another devastating bus bomb has exploded this morning in Jerusalem. The attack took place at Jaffa Street, near the city's Central bus station. Again, the #18 bus (same number as last weeks attack) was totally destroyed.
The Magan David Adom (Isreali EMS) reports the deaths of twenty (20) people and confirmed injuries involving at least fourteen (14) others, four reported in critical condition. Additional Fire, EMS, military and explosives ordinance disposal officers are either enroute or already on the scene. Concerns have been raised of a secondary device that could still explode.
The original blast is believed to have gone off at approximately 06:27 Israeli time, and is being described as being a large detonation. No claim of responsibility has been made and the stituation is still on-going. Additional reports will be issued by ENN as conditions warrant.
ERRI analysts say that they fear that this deadly attack was also carried out by Islamic Extremists. An report says that the militant group Hamas has claimed responsibility for this latest atrocity, but that has not been officially confirmed.
