Hijacker Reportedly Surrenders
By ENN News Team
At this time, passengers are now being lead off the plane to a debriefing area by police and SWAT officials.
Reportedly, the hijacker has surrendered to authorities without incident. According to Paul Phillip of the Miami FBI
office, the hijacker was described as a 28 year old Lebanese national, who spoke both Arabic and Spanish.
Confirmation has been received from the FBI that the alleged device was a "hoax device", and could not have
exploded. The hijacker is in custody and being interrogated. His motivation is unknown at this time.
Allegedly, the hijacker had gone to a flight attendant while over the Atlantic and announced that he had a bomb, and
that he would detonate it if he wasn't taken to the United States. Miami-Metro-Dade bomb squad officers are said
to be searching the plane at the time of this report.
