This is an extremely useful book to help determine treatment protocols for haz-mat exposure patients, and one of the few to offer specific antidote information that can be approved by local medical authorities for use. As mentioned above, this text uses actual (or staged) pictures of emergency situations to illustrate its points. Fairly good coverage of the entire paramedic curriculum as defined the USDOT, this book is recommended as a basic text for paramedic students, or those that would like to review paramedicine materials.
