Haz-Mat Incident at Orange County (FL) Sheriff's Office

ORLANDO, FL: Police, fire, EMS, and Haz-Mat units have responded to an incident at the Orange County sheriff's office. The Orange County Sheriff's Office has also been evacuated after a "suspicious package" was discovered inside the building.

According to very preliminary reports, at least two people are being treated for some sort of "exposure," though the details of their illness/injury is not presently known.

The sheriff's office, is located at 2500 W. Colonial Drive at John Young Parkway, where the incident began at about 10:10 a.m. this morning, authorities said.

HAZMAT personnel are on the scene and are working to evaluate and make the package safe for removal. The contents of the package are not currently clear.
