Major Disturbance Report at Edison H.S. in Miami

Major Disturbance at Florida High School

MIAMI FL: According to fragmentary reports from emergency service sources, a major disturbance is taking place today at Edison high school in Miami. Numerous police units and ambulances have reportedly been dispatched to the scene. The number and severity of any injuries is not presently known. It is also being reported that some police officers may have been injured in the incident. Reports from the scene show dozens of police cars outside the school, which is located at 6161 5th court in Miami.

Edison High School is on lockdown after what is being called "a large fight" broke out on campus Friday morning. A number of students are also believed to have been arrested in this incident and press reports say that as many as fifty (50) police units may be on the scene. Several students were seen being led from the school in flexi-cuffs by police. Watch EmergencyNet News for more on this emerging story...
