Four Dead in Strip Mall Shooting, Police Say
TINLEY PARK, IL: Emergency service sources are telling EmergencyNet News
that four (4) people are dead in a shooting that happened on Saturday
morning at a Lane Bryant clothing store in a strip mall in Tinley Park.
According to Tinley Park police, a suspect is at large and a police manhunt is underway. Residents are asked to avoid the area of the Brookside Center strip mall at 7264 W. 191st Street.
No motive for the incident is presently known.
The suspect is described by Tinley Park police as an African-American male of medium complexion, standing 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 230 to 260 pounds, with a black knit cap, a black waist-length winter coat, and dark jeans, TPPD Sgt. T.J. Grady said.
