Jihadist Website Talks About Manhattan Terror Event
CHICAGO, IL: Very preliminary reports are coming in to EmergencyNet News
about an investigation of jihadist website comments that may indicate an
intent to carry out a terror event on Sept. 11th, the anniversary of the
2001 attacks in Washington and New York.
Few official details are currently available, but it appears that information has been intercepted/monitored that speaks about some sort of event in Manhattan (New York City) in the coming days. It is known that U.S. counter-terrorism officials are already at a heightened state of awareness, due to other jihadist chatter that has been on-going for some time, and the arrests in two plots in Denmark and Germany in recent days.
ERRI analysts and Emergencynet News correspondents are closely monitoring these developments and will bring you additional official details if/when they are released...
