The EmergencyNet NEWS Service is the reporting arm of the Chicago-based Emergency Response
and Research Institute (ERRI). ERRI is an emergency service/national security
consultancy and "think-tank" that studies issues germane to the emergency response,

ERRI is asked almost on a constant basis for information on a variety of topics. ERRI is a
for-profit entity and must charge for this type of service. The Emergency Response and
Research Institute is able to provide research needs in a variety of emergency-related
subjects to journalists and other interested parties. One of our specialties is
highly-detailed and in-depth country studies that focuses on threat assessment. Depending

NEWS GATHERING
EmergencyNet News obtains its news from a large variety of sources. Many of them are
computer-based, but the most accurate and timely involve actual reports by military,
intelligence personnel and emergency responders themselves. EmergencyNet News operates a

EMT's, and military members can call with real-time reports regarding on-going emergency
situations. Many EmergencyNet News stories also include expert analysis, provided by
